Can I add devices to Milesight Development Platform in bulk?
Yes. Milesight Development Platform supports for simultaneously adding up to 200 devices, streamlining the device import process.

Does this platform supports auto provision for devices?
Yes. Milesight Development Platform supports Auto-Provision feature for certain products.

Can I remotely monitor device status through the platform?
Yes. After the devices are added to Milesight Development Platform, you can monitor the device status, information, and invoke services through the platform.

Application – FAQs

What is an Application?

Applications are designed for API interactions with Milesight Development Platform. Each Application is equipped with a unique set of authentication information to obtain an Access Token for API interactions, facilitating tasks such as adding, managing, and configuring devices.

Why do I need to create different Applications?

Each Application functions as an independent entity, when an Application is utilized to add devices via the API, the added devices are automatically associated with it. Devices associated with different Applications operate independently, facilitating the segregation of device groups and enabling separation between distinct projects or use cases.

Why I can not enable some Applications?
It is possible that your Professional plan of this account expaires, the platform will disable all your services and resources, including disabling the applications, beyond the 3 applications within the Free plan. Please contact Milesight to complete the plan renewal to continue the services.

What API interfaces does Milesight Development Platform provide?
Milesight Development Platform provides various APIs for remote device management and RPS management.

Why the platform return "token_not_found" message when I use API?
This is because your access token expaires and require Refresh an Access Token. The access token is valid 1 hour.
Do you provide event notifications?
Milesight Development Platform utilizes webhook for event-driven notifications, ensuring proactive and timely delivery of notifications to integrated third-party application when devices report data to the platform.
