SG50 uses a 30W standard solar panel (with an optional 45W upgrade) to capture solar energy, simultaneously powering the device and recharging the internal battery in ample sunlight. It dynamically adjusts the charging current according to battery temperature to optimize solar energy usage and extend battery life.
SG50 ensures uninterrupted operations at night or during cloudy periods with its built-in battery. It features a reliable 25Ah internal battery, ensuring typical operation for up to 4 days without sunlight.
Whether in remote areas or cost-sensitive locations, 4G wireless deployment reduces Ethernet wiring expenses and enhances convenience.
Milesight Development Platform simplifies your device deployment with intuitive addition processes, plug-and-play configurations, and seamless connectivity. Your devices will be set up automatically by applying settings from predefined templates upon initial activation. It also allows you to send data to custom applications using APIs or webhooks.
Learn MoreSG50 integrates with the RPS (Redirection and Provisioning Service) service, enabling fast device deployment without user intervention. Upon powering up and connecting to the network, the device undergoes automatic configuration.
SG50 combines solar power, a built-in battery, 4G wireless communication, and remote management to enable completely wire-free deployment and independent operation in remote and challenging locations.
SG50 is also well-suited for non-solar-panel applications, such as smart streetlights. The SG50 is powered and its internal battery is charged at night when streetlights are on, running on the internal battery during the day when streetlights are off.
SG50 supports Listen Before Talk (LBT), enabling multiple devices to effectively share the same channel. This technology minimizes channel conflicts and enhances the overall transmission environment.
SG50 offers effortless Wi-Fi configuration within a 10-15 meter range, eliminating the need for proximity. This essential feature simplifies setup, particularly in remote or challenging locations, saving time and enhancing accessibility.
Note: WiFi is solely utilized for configuration purposes.
