Auto-Provision & Profile template

Introduction

In Milesight Development Platform, the Auto-Provision feature is available for certain products, facilitating the initial configuration process by automatically applying settings from a predefined Profile template to the device.

For each product that Internet accessible and supports Auto-Provision, the Milesight Development Platform offers a default Profile template with standard configurations. You can also create a custom Profile template according to your specific requirements.

For Internet inaccessible and non-profile devices, the Milesight Development Platform offers a default TSL configuration profile template with standard configurations. You can also create a custom TSL configuration profile template according to your specific requirements.

Usage
When adding and configuring devices, you can decide whether to enable auto provision and choose the desired Profile template to apply its settings to the device.
Note: If you want to apply custom settings to the device, you need to create a custom Profile template for this device in advance.
