Introduction
Calling all innovative minds and problem solvers in IoT! Milesight is holding its first Hackathon based on our Beaver IoT platform. During this hackathon - held completely online - you will be challenged to extend the platform's possibilities through integrations (coding) or build IoT solutions that solve specific industry challanges (no code), individually or in a team!

What is Beaver IoT

Beaver IoT is Milesight's open-source IoT platform that enables custom project development through flexible coding. For those without development capabilities, the platform's built-in functions can be used for quick proof-of-concept testing.
Learn MoreChallenge accepted? Here are two tracks for you to choose.

Integration Track
Develop IoT solutions through technology/system integrations on Beaver IoT to address specific challenges or create projects for diverse IoT industry scenarios.

Q: Can I participate without Milesight devices?
Yes! Beaver IoT comes integrated with Milesight Development Platform which allows you to custom create demo devices. That means you can participate using the virtual devices you created!
Q: What can I build?
You can choose either 1) the Integration Track and develop IoT solutions through technology/system integrations on Beaver IoT or 2) the Demo Track and build customizable demos or frameworks based on real-world project needs. For details see the Track section
Q: Can I submit an existing project?
A: Yes, but you need to adapt it to run on Beaver IoT during the hackathon.
Q: Can I participate alone?
A: Yes! You can compete individually or in teams.
Q: How do I find teammates?
A: Join our discord server to look for your collaborator(s).
Q: What skills do I need?
A: If you choose the integration track, you need at least basic IoT knowledge + programming (Python/JS preferred). Choose the demo track if you have industry experience but no coding skills.
No Beaver IoT experience required—we provide docs and support!
