We are pleased to announce the release of Milesight NVR 7X.9.0.18, Milesight NVR has optimized various performance features such as supporting up to 64 channels display，event filter function, adding several new features，etc. There are also several functions optimized to enhance the customer experience.
Xiamen, China (Feb. 10th, 2023)- Milesight, a global smart IoT and video surveillance products provider, is pleased to announce the release of the new firmware version 7X.9.0.18 of the Milesight NVR. This updated release includes the new features and optimizations as below.
New Features
(1) Support up to 64(8*8) channels display simultaneously on a monitor forMS-N8064-UH models to facilitate user's viewing.
Note: Make sure the NVR’s model is MS-N8064-UH.
(2)Support event filter in playback.
>> Users can enable Filter to select different events for a more accurate view.
①If you select Override Search, the events that you search for will be presented in a different color on the original timeline.
②If you select Event Only Search, only the video of the event will be presented on the timeline.
Note: This function is only available when playback with a single channel.
(3) Add IP Address Conflict Exception event to detect whether the IP addressof NVR conflicts on the LAN.
(4) Improve compatibility with PTZ Series.
>>Add One-touch patrol, Dehumidifying, Auto Home, Auto Iris, Wiper function keys in PTZ toolbar of monitor's Live view interface.
>>Compatible with some PTZ functions, including Auto home, PTZ Limits, Initial Position, Scheduled Tasks, Config Clear, Wiper, and added corresponding function pages in the PTZ Configuration interface.
Note: The Wiper function is available in AI 36X/42X Speed Dome with Smart Rain-Sensing Wiper.
(5) Compatible with AI Color+ Network Camera.
Note:
a. Make sure the camera’s model is MS-Cxx64-(R)UPD.
b. Make sure the camera version is 5x.7.0.77 or above.
Optimizations
(1) Optimize the channel name of Retrieve and Smart Analysis Search todisplay the user-defined channel names for a better user experience.
(2) Compatible the interface of MS-Cxxxx-xxE.
Bug Fixes
(1) Fix the bug of occasional failure of pushing pictures to the M-Sight Pro app when the event is triggered in MS-Nxxxx-xxT.
(2）Fix the bug that the audio lags occasionally when playing the exported video.
(3) Fix other bugs.
Upgrade Steps
(1) Online Upgrade
① Online Upgrade via Monitor
Step1. Enter the upgrade menu by clicking Main Menu -> Settings -> Maintenance -> Online Upgrade;
Step2. Click “Check” to confirm whether there is a new version;
If there is a new version, the Latest Version column will display corresponding information.
Step3. Click “Upgrade” button to confirm the upgrade. The system will reboot automatically after upgrade.
② Online Upgrade via Web Page
Step1. Enter upgrade menu by clicking Settings -> System -> Maintenance -> Online Upgrade;
Step2. Click “Check” to confirm whether there is a new version;
If there is a new version, the Latest Version column will display corresponding information.
Step3. Click “Upgrade” button to confirm the upgrade. The system will reboot automatically after upgrade.
(2) Local Upgrade
① Local Upgrade via Monitor
Step1. Enter the upgrade menu by clicking Main Menu -> Settings -> Maintenance -> Local Upgrade;
Step2. Click “Browse” and select corresponding firmware you downloaded in your USB;
Step3. Click “Upgrade” button to confirm the upgrade. The system will reboot automatically after upgrade.
② Local Upgrade via Web Page
Step1. Enter upgrade menu by clicking Settings -> System -> Maintenance -> Local Upgrade;
Step2. Click “Browse” for System Upgrade and find the position where you downloaded the firmware. Remember to check the model to make sure that it corresponds to the firmware;
Step3. After choosing the corresponding firmware, click “Upgrade” button to confirm the upgrade. The system will reboot automatically after upgrade.
